Wasima Farah is a Somali Artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota/Brooklyn, NYC. She is a Graphic Designer and Creative Strategist at Soomaal House of Art, Creative Director at The Digital Sisterhood and Art Educator. Her work explores themes of mother and daughter relationships, girlhood, the complexities of an eldest daughter and storytelling through primary colors with Somali motifs in paintings, illustrations and experimental films.
